About S1: E3
I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Professor Lisa Quinones for the latest episode of Queerstories of Recovery: Voices from the Margin.
As a lecturer at SUNY Maritime College and the founder of the Atypical Familia blog, Lisa brings a unique and vital perspective to the intersections of recovery and professional life.
We explored how she balances academic rigor with the vulnerability required in long-term recovery, and how she is using her forthcoming memoir, Atypical Motherhood, to challenge cultural narratives.
For anyone interested in inclusive storytelling, neurodiversity advocacy, or the “atypical” path through higher education, this conversation is one that’s not to miss!
