October is Addiction Recovery Awareness Month, and I am always eager to bring the community together to support those affected by addiction. Whether you’re in recovery, know someone who is, or just want to help, attending or volunteering at community addiction recovery awareness events really matter.
Because addiction touches so many lives, we can create a strong support network, break the stigma, and build a healthier community just by coming together, telling our stories, and helping others.
I am available to speak and volunteer at addiction recovery community events, addiction recovery campus organized events, collegiate recovery programs, and other opportunities to speak about my recovery journey and personal research.
