My name is Ashley Close and I am an outreach coordinator. I grew up in Union Beach for most of my life. It is a little town in Monmouth County New Jersey.
I work in the substance abuse industry, connecting families to quality treatment. I’ve been working in the field for 6 years.
This line of work has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember because both of my parents were substance abuse counselors. I’ve always had a passion for helping people and I saw how recovery saved my fathers life so I jumped at the opportunity to help families get the second chance they deserve.
Helping alcoholics and addicts is what she considers her calling. Ashley continues to make strides in the field so that clients feel safe and comfortable while they begin their journey of recovery.
Currently, Ashley is working towards a degree in Human Services at Brookdale Community College.
